Our Story
Founded on a simple idea: the client comes first.
Thomas Brown and Justin Sheppard started Ascend Group to take the stress out of one of life’s biggest decisions. The promise hasn’t changed: personal guidance, honest advice and a team that works harder for every client.
Justin’s family has spent 200 years helping build Texas. Now he’s continuing that legacy by helping agents build their businesses. A seventh-generation Texan and third-generation Realtor, he has called Austin home for 25 years. His family’s story includes the Bates-Sheppard House in Cuero, a Texas Historical Commission landmark, was a Sheppard family home from 1886 to 1968.
Today Ascend is more than 100 advisors strong, with over 10,000 transactions closed. We’re recognized as a top team in Texas and in the country by the Wall Street Journal, RealTrends, Inc. and the Austin Business Journal.
